The Blast Furnace II is a variant of the Blast Furnace machine. It is used to indirectly convert Iron Ore into Iron, Copper Ore into Copper, and Glass Mix into Glass with the assistance of other machines.
Notably, the Blast Furnace II only accepts ore which has been crushed in a Crusher and requires the addition of Limestone for Iron or Sand for Copper. In exchange for the increased complexity, it offers a 33% increase in ore efficiency and 33% reduction in Slag byproduct generation for both Iron and Copper ores. When used to smelt Glass Mix, it has a 100% higher throughput with a 16.7% decrease in both Coal usage and Slag byproduct amount.
