The Low-pressure Turbine II is a direct upgrade of the Low-Pressure Turbine machine. Compared to the Low-pressure Turbine, it can accept twice as much Steam (Low), generates twice as much Mechanical Power and has newly the Maintenance II cost, but requires same Workers. It has the same footprint, has the same inputs/outputs, and the input/output locations line up exactly the same.

The Low-pressure Turbine II contains a shift which runs laterally through it with outputs on both ends. This shaft must be connected directly to a Power Generator (or variant thereof) to generate Electricity.

Efficiency and auto-balance
