The Cracking Unit is a machine used for converting oil product ( Heavy Oil, Naphtha, Fuel Gas, and Diesel) each other. Some recipes create byproducts of Sour Water or Carbon Dioxide.
No recipe has an advantage on the quantity of heat. This means burning in Boiler (Gas) or Diesel Generator after cracking produces a similar or less amount of Steam (High) or Electricity as uncracked. On the other hand, cracking is useful in these cases:
- Produce additional Diesel for vehicles or Cargo Ships
- Convert Heavy Oil to Naphtha or Diesel to produce additional Plastics or Rubbers
