The Data Center is a planned machine containing some number of server racks, the purpose of which is presently unknown.[1] The game files indicate that the machine can perform floating point calculations at a rate in the range of 16 teraFLOPS, though it is unclear if this is per machine or per server rack.[2]

References to FLOPS also appear in the game files for the Microchip Machine,[3] Research Lab V,[4] Assembly (Robotic),[5] and Assembly (Robotic) II.[6] Due to its proximity on the technology tree to Research Lab V, it is likely that computing power from the Data Center will be an additional requirement to the Workers requirement of previous tiers.
