Bricks are a fundamental early-game requirement and will be consumed in large quantities.
Bricks are a crafted material that is used in the production of Construction Parts. It is made from Dirt, Coal, and Water.
After researching Concrete Production, Bricks can be replaced by Concrete Slab, which offers higher production rates with the Concrete Mixer, particularly higher tier machines.
Bricks consume large quantities of dirt and may require constant attention and careful planning to keep machines full of ingredients once production begins to ramp up.
Dirt is an early game byproduct of mining. Excess dirt production may decrease as you begin to mine into more concentrated resources, a secondary reason to change to Concrete Slab production.
