Main article: World Map

In the beginning of every game, there are several locations available on the World Map:

  • The Home Island(yellow icon with three houses), from which the game begins.
  • And a village just next to your Home Island for easy early game trade once you've gained access to trading through research, repairs and infrastructure.
  • In addition there's several Unknown Locations which can be explored with The Ship displayed as grey question marks on the world map.

Exploring Unknown Locations:

Locations can be explored in two ways:

  • In the early game it is only possible to explore a location by visiting it with The Ship.
  • Later, namely by upgrading The Ships bridge, locations are explored without visiting the location itself, but by visiting a connected location, closer to the Home Island

(with the exception of the Unknow Location with a green village icon, which needs to be explored with The Ship, to start trading.).

All of the locations explored are first discovered as a Location With Enemy(different red icons).

A Location With Enemy can essentially be five different type of locations:

  • A simple Location With Enemy, displayed on the World Map with a skull(red). Upon defeating this location, none but the right of passage through this node is granted and the location will turn into a Fully Explored(blue) location.
  • A Loot Box, displayed on the World Map with a treasure chest icon(red). Upon defeating this location a varying amount of loot is obtained and the right of passage through this node is granted and the location will turn into a Fully Explored(blue) location.
  • A Damaged Cargo Ship(red) waiting to be liberated, repaired and claimed for your own. Upon claiming he ship, the location will turn into a Fully Explored(blue) location.
  • A village(red) waiting to be liberated. Upon liberating the village, the location will turn into a village(yellow) on the World Map, essentially allowing the trade with the village.
  • Or a Resources location, waiting to be liberated, repaired and drained. Upon liberation the icon will turn blue, indicating, it can be repaired. Once repaired the icon will turn yellow, and will start to produce resources and becomes available for expluatation.

Resources locations:

Once the enemy at this location has been defeated, the World Map icon turns blue, indicating the Resource Location can be repaired. Once repaired, the location is using Manpower and Unity to produce resources(and the icon is tinted yellow). Those resouces then need to be transported to the Home Island with either The Ship or a Cargo Ship.
