The Groundwater Well is an Outpost found on the World Map which provides an infinite supply of Water. As of Beta 0.3.11 (2022-01-23), there is always one Groundwater Well visible and reachable on the map, generally about 3 or 4 nodes away from the Home Island.

In most case, the well is a more expensive way to get Water than Thermal Desalinators since a cargo ship importing the Water spends Diesel.

Repair and output potential

After discovery on the World Map, the Groundwater Well must be repaired before it can be utilized. The Groundwater Well extracts resources from a unlimited deposit.

Level Repair Cost Storage Capacity Maximum Production

4 200 × Construction Parts III 4930 × Water 32 / 10 Clock.png (192 / 60 Clock 60s.png)

8 360 × Construction Parts III 6340 × Water 64 / 10 Clock.png (384 / 60 Clock 60s.png)

Resource extraction

In order to produce any output, the Groundwater Well must be manned. Each outpost can support a variable amount of shifts, depending on the level of the outpost.
