Brine is a semi-processed material derived from Seawater. It provides the sole source of Chlorine production for use in Waste Water treatment and the creation of Plastic. It is has applications in the treatment of Toxic Slurry as a byproduct of processing Uranium Ore Crushed into Yellow Cake for eventual use as a power source in Nuclear Reactors.
Brine is produced either by processing Seawater and any variant of steam in a Thermal Desalinator, or by evaporating Seawater in an Evaporation Pond to make Salt then mixing it with Water in a Mixer. Excess Brine can be disposed of by dumping it into the ocean without generating Water Pollution.
