An Arc Furnace is a machine used to convert Quartz into Molten Silicon for the later creation of Silicon (Poly) in a Silicon Reactor. It requires Coal and Graphite while producing Slag and Exhaust byproducts. As Silicon (Poly) is a strict requirement for Electronics, the Arc Furnace or its Arc Furnace II variant is necessary for its production.
