Step 1: Start a new game
Start a new game, use the default island and the difficulty "CAPTAIN".
Micro steps
Start with micro step 001 and work your way down the table. For each step do the action then wait 500ms to give the game a chance to response. Compare the result with the expected. If you have unexpected results talk to me. If you see where we can improve, use the discussion pages.

| 002 | Do nothing. | The tab "Map selection" is active. |
| 003 | Do nothing. | The map "New Haven" is selected. |
| 004 | Click the button "GAME DIFFICULTY". | The tab "Game difficulty" is active. |
| 005 | Click the button "CAPTAIN". | The text boxes all show"Standard". |
| 006 | Click the text box "Game seed". | The text is selected. |
| 007 | Press "0". | The text box shows "0". |
| 008 | Click the button "LAUNCH NEW GAME". | The window "NEW GAME" is closed. |
| 009 | Do nothing. | The patch notes are displayed. |
| 010 | Wait 3 seconds then press "0". Keep doing this until the patch notes are hidden. | The game is paused at 1 January 0001. |
