On the info panel for machines with recipes is a checkbox labeled show / 60[[File:Clock.png|16x16px]]. This option changes the recipe display to show the amount of products over 60[[File:Clock.png|16x16px]] instead of the machine's inherent cycle. The wiki displays both numbers at the same time.
Show / 60[[File:Clock.png|16x16px]] could be described as the theoretical output, because it normalizes the machine's output over time. This makes it easier to compare the output and input of different machines when planning logistics and automation.
However, the numbers available through this option represents a best case and perfect interoperability between machines. In most cases, machines are connected via belts, pipes, or chutes which introduce dynamics which keep particular machines starved and unable to output their theoretical maximum. These effects scale in proportion with the amount of items being transported.
