Steam Lo is the intermediate energy state of Steam (Higher energy state being Steam (High) and lower energy state being Steam Depleted.)
Steam is produced as a byproduct of generating Electricity in a High-Pressure Turbine, scrubbing Exhaust, or smelting with Arc Furnace II.
Steam Lo can be consumed in four ways:
- Turns into Steam Depleted by using it for energy production in a Low-Pressure Turbine
- Condensate into Water in a Cooling Tower
- Turns into Water and Brine in a Thermal Desalinator with the use of Seawater
- Releases into the atmosphere via a Smoke Stack.
Steam Lo is transferred via Pipe [II • III]. Although most of Fluid Products can be stored in a Fluid Storage [II • III • IV], any kind of steam can NOT be stored in a Fluid Storage [II • III • IV]. Currently the best way to store Steam would be in long pipe sections.
