The Liquid Dump is a machine which allows for the removal of unwanted liquids. Dumping Water, Brine, or Seawater will not cause Water Pollution, but dumping any other liquid will in varying amounts. In the middle- and late-game, several alternate mechanics become available to process Waste Water and Toxic Slurry in less-polluting methods as well as recipes to make useful items from Sour Water.
It should be noted that the maximum input/output rate of the Liquid Dump exactly match the maximum throughput of a Pipe.
